Our Nursery
Parkfield Nursery offer a caring and professional childcare nursery in Carlisle. We have a professional team to look after your child, working with all ages from 6 months to 5 years old. Our nursery is the perfect option for you and your child as we offer support towards your child’s development through our dedicated staff team.
We use an app called Famly which we are able to send you photos through as your child settles into nursery and of activities that your child has enjoyed doing. We would also encourage you to send photos to us of the activities your child has been doing at home so that we can talk about them and print the photos off to share with them at nursery. Also, through the app you are able to communicate with us, send us a message or ask any questions that you may have. We are always available to have a face-face chat too.
If you would like more information regarding our nursery or would like to organise a visit to meet our team, do not hesitate to get in touch. We offer appointments available Monday – Wednesday evenings at 5.30pm. This gives you time to look around the nursery, with a Member of the Management team who will be able to answer any questions that you may have.

Settling In
The first session is used as an introduction to Parkfield and need only last an hour during which time the Parent/Carer can remain in the nursery with their child. This can be repeated on another day if you so wish.
Children with additional needs are welcome at Parkfield. We will work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure that every child is fully supported during their time at Parkfield.
We use an app called Famly, where we can send photos to Parents/Carers which gives you an insight into your child’s nursery day. We also encourage parents to share with us their child’s life outside of nursery. Also, through the App you are able to communicate with us, send us a message or ask any questions you may have. We are always available to a face to face chat too.
Parents/Carers are always welcome to join us on our walks around the neighbourhood such as to the shops and the woods or longer trips to Tullie House and the Library. Parents/carers are always welcome to help in the nursery.
